As social media mocks cramping LeBron James, a snickering Heat star in 2011 comes to mind

How seriously should basketball fans take muscle cramps? Well, they were bad enough to have Miami Heat star LeBron James carried from the court in a sweltering San Antonio AT&T Center in Thursday’s Game 1 loss to the Spurs.

How seriously should basketball players take a fever and a sinus infection? Well, it wasn’t bad enough to sideline Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki in Game 4 of the 2011 NBA Finals. Yet, James and teammate Dwyane Wade had an off-the-court cough and laugh, during workouts following the game, giving the impression that they weren’t impressed with the sick German’s fight through adversity.

So, while social media mocks Miami’s main main, some Mavericks fans may find the karma a little too good (or bad) to ignore.
