Big Shot Bob Compares Lebron to Iverson

Robert Horry is known as Big Shot Bob for the giant playoff shots he hit for the Houston Rockets, LA Lakers, and San Antonio Spurs. The man has 7 rings and knows a thing or two about winning and the playoffs. Big Shot Bob said the current LeBron James is playing like the 2001 Allen Iverson that lost to his Lakers in the Finals but not after a great series by AI, and Bob says Lebron reminds him of Lebron from 2007. In 2007 Horry played and beat that Lebron in Finals that was a sweep for the Spurs over the Cavs.

“The run that LeBron is doing is impressive,” Horry said. “It reminds me of two different guys: LeBron back in 2007 when he took that team to the Finals — the first Cavs team — and then what Allen Iverson did when he took his Sixers to the Finals. When you got a cast of nobodies, a cast of people you can’t even call on — other than Dikembe Mutombo for the Sixers — to take them to the Finals, put them on your back and do everything offensively and defensively to get them there, it’s special.”
