Durant out for 5th straight game Friday

Serious concern is setting in regarding Kevin Durant’s ankle.

The star will miss his fifth straight game Friday as the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Charlotte Hornets.

Durant, who suffered what was originally called a “mild ankle sprain,” told the Oklahoman’s Darnell Mayberry on Thursday he’s still unable to run.

The 2014 league MVP’s injured ankle is on same right leg as the fractured foot he suffered in October. He returned Dec. 2 after missing the first 17 games of the season.
