Jeff Van Gundy Interested In Bulls Job

Although Tom Thibodeau is still under contract, and has yet to be fired, his buddy Jeff Van Gundy is showing some interest in his job a Bulls head coach. The Bulls might try to trade Thibodeau to another franchise similar to how the Celtics dealt Coach Doc Rivers to the Clippers for a first round draft pick.

The problem with this is that the entire league knows Chicago is trying to get rid of Thibodeau.

Jeff Van Gundy hasn’t coached in the association since 2007 when he parted ways with the Houston Rockets. Van Gundy also coached the New York Knicks.

Van Gundy was report to be interested in the New Orleans Pelicans head coaching position, but the Bulls might put more on the table.

If Van Gundy does indeed land with Chicago it would be in the same division as his brother, Stan Van Gundy, who is currently the head coach of the Detroit Pistons.

More details and updates as they come in….
