Kawhi Leonard still a no-go for Spurs

Kawhi Leonard’s bruised right hand is clearly not near game shape.

The San Antonio Spurs announced that Leonard will miss his sixth consecutive game Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich offered a fairly succinct view of the situation on Thursday.

“He can’t move his hand,” Popovich told Dan McCarney of the San Antonio Express-News. “He can’t catch and dribble and that kind of stuff. Medically, they don’t think he can hurt it any more, so that’s good. It’s just a matter of when he can get use of the hand I guess, because it’s too stiff and doesn’t work like your hand works.”
