Kevin Garnett Purchases 1,000 Tickets for Timberwolves Fans to Show Appreciation

Kevin Garnett is back with the Minnesota Timberwolves and wants to show the fans how much they mean to him.

In appreciation for their support, Garnett, aka The Big Ticket, has purchased 1,000 tickets for the team’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night. According to NBA.com, he said, “As a gesture of thanks, I would like to treat some fans to Monday night’s game against the Clippers. Love you all, and thanks for the love. Enjoy the game on me.”

Beginning at 9 a.m. ET on Monday, the first 500 fans to visit www.timberwolves.com/kg (website not activated yet) will receive a pair of tickets. Fans can pick up their tickets at the Target Center between 4-6 p.m. on Monday, and the game begins at 8 p.m. ET.

Garnett, in his 20th season in the NBA, played his first 12 years with the Timberwolves. He was traded back to Minnesota from the Brooklyn Nets for Thaddeus Young during the trade deadline.
