Knicks’ Acy suspended 1 game, Wizards’ Wall fined $15K for Thursday’s scuffle

Quincy Acy of the New York Knicks was suspended one game by the NBA on Friday for taking a swing at Washington Wizards point guardJohn Wall during their Christmas Day matchup.

Wall was fined $15,000 by the league for his part in the shenanigans.

Acy fouled Wall hard in the fourth quarter Thursday, ultimately receiving a flagrant foul 2. After some shoving back from Wall, Acy attempted to deliver what appeared to be an elbow to the head.

A little spice on Christmas between John wall and Acy #NBA #fight #NBAChristmas

Wall’s fine comes as a result of pushing Acy following the hard foul and “escalating the incident.”
