Knicks’ Head Coach Derek Fisher Files for Divorce

New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher files for divorce from his wife Candace Fisher in Los Angeles Wednesday night.

As per associated press, Fisher in a statement said

“this is a difficult time for me personally. For the sake of our children, I ask that everyone respects our privacy during this process.”
On June 10, 2014 Fisher signed a five year, $25 million deal to become New York’s 26th head coach. Currently the Knicks are tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the worst record in the league at 14-53, this after a surprising victory over the defending champions San Antonio Spurs.
