The sports friendly show focuses on a faster paced talk show to embrace the younger generation of sports fans who have a quicker or ‘twitter-based’ attention span. It also features high profile guests.

Bentley, who has a laundry list of success inside the music industry already, came up with the concept of the fast moving show.  Bentley put together the on air and behind the scenes team and quickly raised funding from private investors to release 4 mock episodes for stations and sponsors.

Reviews on the first four mock episodes landed the show into not only a live show on Friday’s in the Charlotte, NC., area but also national syndication across the country. The first airing of the show was in May 2014.

The show is hosted by Frank “Catfish” Hughes (National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association) and by Jimmy Doundas.  The show has beat writers from across the country working their markets, and it also has a third host the female former radio host, Cookie Barber.

Catfish Hughes applied to work with NBA teams while still in High School working part time to launch his own successful podcast show via Blogtalk radio. Catfish is a long family nickname, and Mr. Hughes is labeled as a “quick witted” host who is quick to call out players. In the shows first four episodes, he has already stirred the controversy pot by calling NBA Clippers guard, Chris Paul, “not a winner,” and stating that he feels former NBA Center, Alonzo Mourning, shouldn’t be heading to the Hall of Fame this year. Hughes also called out Carolina Panther Greg Hardy after he assaulted his girlfriend. Hughes told Mr Hardy to come on the show to tell the community that he had made a mistake and what he was going to do for the community of Charlotte to make up for being a bad role model to the children.

The show also has a guest segment with high profile athletes and entertainers such as the former heavyweight of the world, Larry Holmes, former NBA referee, Tim Donaghy, who went to prison for a gambling scandal with mafia ties, former NBA guard Muggsy Bogues, Dr. Dre’s son, Curtis Young, and undefeated featherweight Saul Rodriquez to name drop a few of people who have been on in the early stages.
