Michael Jordan is Jimmy Butler’s Father?

Michael Jordan is Jimmy Butler’s father? Well, probably not. I know this has started to grow across the forums and on some websites online, and a ton of these sites tried to use what I said on air as the source. This was from a Thru the Wire late last year, when I said Butler is playing like his true father, Michael Jordan.

I then talked about the fact that MJ had several woman claim to be his mistress, and there were heavy reports that Jordan sent 23 roses to a woman in a hospital delivery room sometime between 1987 and 1989.

Butler was born in 1989.

Now Jordan has 3 children with his ex-wife, Juanita Jordan. His two sons played college basketball, but never had the height of their father.  They didn’t even finish their careers at the University of Central Florida. Both now work for the Jordan Company.

Michael and Juanita were married in Las Vegas in 1989, after he had spent only five years in the NBA, and a year later they signed a “post-nuptial” agreement that gave her access to half his fortune. He possibly did not know what he was signing away, since the $168 million she won in their 2007 divorce was only one-third of his net worth. By the time the ink dried on the settlement, Jordan said he wanted to get on with his life, and his wife had already become involved with a banker 20 years younger.

Juanita has reported that she knew her husband was unfaithful, but never said any names publically.

Let’s take a look at the woman who have accused Jordan of fathering their children.

Pamela Smith and Michael Jordan

Pamela Smith pictured with Jordan date unknown

Pamela Smith claims to have become pregnant after allegedly having a tryst with Jordan in 1995 giving birth to her now 16-year-old son Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds, also known as Taj, in June 1996.

That is Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds, who goes by TAJ, pictured and in 2013, he released a video on youtube that said MJ was his father. He also said he had met MJ’s ex-wife, is aware that Taj is his son saying they’ve met, “talked and had conversation.”

Nothing came of that case since….well besides the video that Taj put on youtube was removed, and this picture come out:

Did Jordan have a child with Karla Knafel?

Jordan and Karla Knafel
Karla Knafel and Jordan pictured date unknown

Back in 2003, Jordan was taken to court by Karla Knafel, a woman he had an alleged sexual relationship from 1989 to 1991, via USA Today. At that time, a judge denied Knafel the $5 million she was seeking when DNA tests found her child was not fathered by Jordan.

The reports around the Knafel/Jordan affair can get pretty wild, but they all lead to the point that the two probably had sex at some point.

According to several reports, Karla began her affair with Michael Jordan in December 1989. She was a singer in a band that performed in a hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana. NBA referee Eddie Rush told Karla that he knew Michael Jordan and that he was in town to play the Indiana Pacers. Rush called Jordan and Karla and Michael talked on the phone. Knafel became pregnant during the affair and she claims that Jordan “demanded that she abort the baby”. She refused.

That is more of the deep end of the story with other stories saying Jordan hooked up with her one night after beating Reggie Miller and company in Indiana. It’s pure speculation, but the photo is out there.

The most interesting report with a solid, factual source is from the Chicago Tribune in 2002. The following is from that article:

“During her pregnancy, she now contends, Jordan offered her $5 million to keep quiet about their affair–setting the stage for their court battle after Jordan filed suit in October, accusing Knafel of trying to extort millions of dollars. He admitted paying her $250,000 to keep their relationship secret.

Now 39, Knafel has fired back at Jordan in a court filing that detailed their affair, which she says started three months after Jordan married his wife Juanita in 1989. Knafel contended Jordan told her his marriage was a “business arrangement” and that he considered Juanita “hired help,” allegations Jordan’s lawyer said were untrue and “particularly hurtful and malicious.”

Knafel’s attorneys have admitted Jordan is not the father of Knafel’s daughter. Jordan has until Dec. 16 to reply to Knafel’s allegations.”

So Jordan DID admit paying this THOT woman $250,000.00. Interesting, but hey this is Michael Jordan and at the time he was still married so even if he kissed this groupie lady, he would want to cover that up. He wouldn’t want to lose half of his billion dollar fortune lovely wife.

Lisa Miceli and Michael Jordan

Now meet Lisa Miceli, another woman who filed 3 paternity suits against Jordan, which again proved that he was not the father of her 4 year old child at the time.

Here is a picture of the two dancing together …

Michael Jordan is Jimmy Butlers Father

There was an injuction hearing for Miceli to stay away from Jordan after it was proved he wasn’t the father in 2008.

It was a nice try by Miceli with the picture, the partying, and reports she had a child that ‘looked mixed’, and never told even her own family who the father was for months.

A nice try, yes, but just like the Utah Jazz, she lost to MJ in court. She is also great proof that women will try things like this against men of great success and money….

Jimmy Butler and Michael Jordan

Now with Butler, who grow up in Houston, and the story goes that his father abandoned the family when he was an infant. Then at just 13 his own mother kicked him out of the house after telling him, “I don’t like the look of you. You gotta go.”

An NBA GM spoke to ESPN back in 2011 on Butler’s life and upbringing: “His story is one of the most remarkable I’ve seen in all my years of basketball. There were so many times in his life where he was set up to fail. Every time, he overcame just enormous odds. When you talk to him — and he’s hesitant to talk about his life — you just have this feeling that this kid has greatness in him.”

Now Butler is listed at 6’7 220. Jordan during his playing career was listed as 6’6 and 215 pounds. Similar but hardly evidence for anything at all.

There has NEVER been a claim by Butler or his mother against Jordan. Butler was born in Houston, and there isn’t any reports of Jordan messing around in Houston besides putting up a few triple doubles vs the Rockets.

Londa Butler is a Private sitter for CARING @ LOVING FOR. She attended Tomball High School, she belong to the class of 1980 · The Woodlands, Texas; as well as Lone Star College-Tomball -Medical Office Receptionist · Tomball, Texas. She has listed Shanique Dickerson as her daughter.

She is originally fromm Tomball, Texas and currently resides in Houston, TX.

That is about all we know about Londa at this time.

Butler kept this story from most people and before playing in the NBA, he listed his biological parents Londa and Jimmy Butler in Marquette’s media guide.

That person listed, Jimmy Butler, is something that Jimmy Butler won’t speak on. When Butler was on the cover of Sports Illustrated last year the story briefly mentioned the other Jimmy Butler stating only: “He(Butler) again puts up a wall when asked about his early relationship with his father, a truck driver also named Jimmy.”

Not much to go on, and calls to family friends weren’t returned. The irony is that the same SI article says this: “Butler has attempted a career-high 14.3 shots per game, delivered in late-game situations and called himself Baby Mike—as in Jordan—during practice trash-talking sessions.”

So is Jordan the father of Jimmy Butler? Yes, but only in terms of his father as a Chicago Bull.

It is almost a fact at this point that Butler’s mother would have come out against Jordan at some point as you can read above women have done it even when it wasn’t true. Why wouldn’t she do it if it was true?

Now there have been claims that Butler’s mom was getting funds from his father up until he was 13, and that is why she kicked him out. This is pure speculation as well, and most likely not true.

Butler was pretty much adopted by the family of Jordan Leslie in high school.

He was going into his senior year at Tomball High School, near Houston, when freshman, Jordan Leslie, challenged him to a three-point contest at the outdoor basketball court down the street from the Lambert home. They became friends and that was the start of something special .

Those two parents were Michael Lambert, who had his own construction business and three kids from a previous marriage. Then there was Michelle Lambert was an engineer tech for a gas and oil company and also had three kid from a previous marriage.
‘‘He would come over and sleep here a couple nights,’’ Mrs. Lambert said. ‘‘Then it got a little bit more and a little bit more. Finally, we were like, ‘Come on, Jordan, it’s a school night, you can’t have someone spending the night with you all the time.’ We told him no more than two nights together.
‘‘On the third night, I said, ‘Jordan, it’s the third night, Jimmy’s still here, what’s going on?’ One of my other kids said, ‘Oh, Jimmy’s spending the night with me tonight.’ That’s when I realized they had beat us. We were like, ‘You little sneaky people.’ ’’
The Lamberts decided the implications of not taking in Butler were greater. ‘‘The kids just loved him immediately,’’ Mrs. Lambert said. ‘‘He became part of our lives immediately.’’
Until this day Bulter doesn’t know why his biological mother kicked him out of the house but as painful and it was it helped mold and shape just not the basketball player but the man Jimmy Buter has became today.
There is no proof at all.
