Nuggets Beat D-Less Antonio and Lakers

The Denver Nuggets (27-34) helped to provide further evidence that the Los Angeles Lakers (21-42) defense is in shambles with a 134-126 victory on Friday.

The Nuggets scored at least 33 points in each of the first three quarters, and were able to coast to victory during the final frame.

Kenneth Faried and Ty Lawson led the way with a pair of huge double-doubles. Faried scored a career-high 32 points to go along with 13 rebounds. Lawson had 30 and tied a career-best 17 assists.

The Lakers were led by Pau Gasol‘s 27. Jordan Farmar and Ryan Kelly each pitched in 24 off the bench.

L.A.’s problem was defense—as is usually the case. They’ve given up 276 points in their last two games, an average of 138.
