Paul Millsap Agrees Upon Three-Year, $58M Deal With Hawks

Paul Millsap has agreed upon a three-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks worth more than $58 million.

Millsap also received a four-year, $80 million offer from the Orlando Magic.

Millsap only met with Orlando and Atlanta with Atlanta winning him over more than likely with their ability to offer a 3 year deal and not a 4.  Millsap gets a player option for the 3rd year of the deal.

Millsap has averaged 7.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.8 steals, and a block since signing a team-friendly two-year, $19-million deal with the Hawks in 2013. He helped the Hawks win the East with the best record in the regular season before being swept in the Eastern Conference Finals by Lebron and the Cavs.

Millsap is 30 years young.
