Yesterday, the Washington Wizards named the DC emcee their creative liaison. Wale songs will now be used in the team’s introductions and he will partner with the Wizards on designs for merchandise and social media promotions. (Wale has almost four million followers on Twitter and 1.5 million on Instagram.)
“As a D.C. native and lifelong Wizards fan, this is truly an exciting and organic relationship for me,” Wale said in a press release. “We’ve got some exciting projects up our sleeve that will roll out throughout the season, so be on the lookout.”
Wale is often seen sitting court-side at Wizards games. In 2013, he famously confronted Raptors broadcaster Matt Devlin after Devlin compared Wale unfavorable to Drake, who is the Raptors team ambassador.
But who remembers when the announcers at a Wizards/Raptor’s game didn’t know who Wale was, and when Wale heard about it he tried to fight the two announcers? Don’t remember? Here is that hilarious video ….

Maybe because Nick currently lives outside London where to them Football is actually played with your feet, can you believe this fatuousness?
